Hi Peter, i have found when scrolling through songs when you get to the end of your list the last four songs drag the highlighted song downwards and as you enter the begining of list again it jumps to top of list.
This is very distracting , it sould remain on the same line all the way through to the end and from begining.i know there is areason for this probably as the no 1 song is always placed on the top of the list, perhaps to keep things simple you should make the no 1 song in the middle so even if you have only two songs they appear in the middle and if you have a large list say 100 songs the 100th song appears just above the middle of now selected song. This would eliminate jumping jerks when scrolling, it would also immediately display the last song in the playlist showing you how big your playlist is if you have numbering enabled, and it would stabilize unnecessary jerking movement when scrolling through the list.
At the moment there is too much jerkiness of the playlist when scrolling and looking for next song, and when moving through the end of list to beginning, it should be seamless, the highlighted now song if not playing should always remain on middle line when scrolling and nothing should move it, unless when in play mode the next song highlight takes over in which case this yellow line below the now playing song remains in that spot while searching , coming to an end of a list should still keep it on that line as it goes through the first song again , when you have made your choice of next song there should be an easy way to get back to now playing song, i believe the old version had this feature on it so it was easy to get back to the now to play selected song. From memory i think it was a swipe on next song to right gets you back to now playing song and a swipe to right on now playing song gets you back to next song.
This is how i would have the operation so it keeps everything smooth logical and no radical jerkines while operating.
I would have the middle line dedicated as the number 1 begining of list line of a list this is also a now playing dedicated display line, and the line below this to be a dedicated next song line,
Only certain conditions change this.
If i load a song in a new playlist it appears in this middle line first as you load more songs the last song of the list ends up above this middle first song. As you scroll up or down in the list while in stop mode this now playing middle line stays in one spot as the list goes through it, it will not move no matter where you are in the list.
The song below this is your next song line , this also is a dedicated default next line it follows the now playing song in stop mode.
If you play a song and start searching for next song , the next song line remains in its spot, the now playing song moves as expected out of view and the next song line remains in its spot no matter what, once you have chosen your next song and want to get back to now playing song a swipe to right returns you to now playing song which is placed in its default middle of playlist, if you then swipe to right on the now playing song you return to the next song which is placed in its default middle of screen spot.
This maintains some order and minimal jerkiness we are experiancing now
In actual fact i would have the next song line as the middle of screen the line above the now playing song and the line above that the last song in the list.
Reason for this suggestion is for the system to be smoother to operate and hopefully simplifies the programing by keeping everything in line, hopefully this will eliminate the end of list jerkiness and a lot of other unnecessary jumping around while searching.
At the moment its not perfect.
