Hide Playlist Issue

Hi Peter I have just found that if the Hide Play List setting is set to ‘on’ that In some instances this doesn’t always work. I’ve found at least 2 problem songs where on pressing play the playlist is hidden but immediately reappears. Neither song has a pdf attached and work fine in the current live version.

I do not see this issue. I stopped trying after about 50 different songs. Version 3.5.0 is no available. So I will move this to the regular support section.

peter Just realised what the problem is - I’d used the same midi command in Assign Actions for opening/closing the playlist as the one I use to control my guitar fx pedal in the Lyrics Editor. That’s why the playlist would hide then reappear. So can fix that myself! By the way don’t have same issue in the current live version 3.4 for some reason.

Have just created a playlist containing 11 songs at random and 4 of them repeatedly exhibit this problem. But I cannot see for the life of me what is different about these four songs. Before doing this I did a hard reboot of my iPad wondering whether that would fix it. (I’d also had a crash of beta earlier and wondered whether I should reinstall it?)

I haven't changed anything in the midi code. You should see the same behavior in version 3.4.

The underlying issue might be that Stage Traxx sends all MIDI commands to all available MIDI ports. That might include the Stage Traxx MIDI In port. I will have to check that. Would make sense to exclude it from the send destination list.
