Hi Peter, after playing around with master effects i have some constructive feedback.
I LIKE THE CONCEIPT. Its nice to be able to insert a plugin to control your overall sound.
I HATE ITS OPERATION.There are a number of things i dont like just by using it for a while.
1
I dont like when you insert a plugin it stops your playback, all plugins as default should insert themselves without interfearing whichever playback mode youre in at that time and all plugins should be deactivated on start up having an enable switch for you to enable them without any disturbance to now playing song.
2
When i chose a plugin and it appears on screen, i expect it to stay on screen even if i select different songs i dont want it to dissapear as i am testing different songs, it makes no sense, i should be able to shut down the plugin in its own screen.

I should be able to make quick comparison between the normal song no plugin and inserted plugin thats turned on, this should possibly be the on off switch that should be available on all plugins, has anyone thought about this when creating auv3 plugins? Is there no logical standard? This all seems so poorely implemented with no regard for the end user.
I am testing this on the first few plugins i assume there are other plugins that work better, but the stoping of playback and staying on screen might be an ST3 issue i hope it is as it might be fixable but if its a general plugins thing then the standards need to be raised if im going to use this.

I should be able to swap from one plugin to another without interruption to my playing audio,as i chose another plugin the now inseted plugin should auto bypass itself then the next plugin should insert itself in its bypassed mode and then allow me to turn it on manualy, all in an instant without interrupting my playback, and i should be able to chose a preset or tweak the plugin before i choose to enable it, this is very standard operational need.
Otherwise its just a hotch potch way of working almost not worth using as it could put you off air when performing.
I will try out a few more plugins to see if i can find one that has been designed a bit better for live performance use.
But so far i am not that impressed with the overall plugin thing.
ST3 has enough EQ capability and more effort in editing pre production might just be a better option.
It would be really nice to have some sort of exciter/ finelizer on output just to enhance the overall sound and hopefully improve the sound a little more in the PA, but i havent found such a beast in the app store as yet so if anyone has found such a thing i would appreciate it if you could share your discovery.
Cheers Damir
