What is this for? I am looking also to send a midi signal from my daw and have the lyrics scroll at the proper time .
When I look at lyric only , I cannot see how it is used

It will just display lyrics without an audio file when you don't need a playback. It can also send midi when loading that song.

In the next version it will also be able to scroll automatically but in the current version only manual scrolling works.

I just tried to split headphone and usb and it wouldn’t let me. I was using trackrig with it from loop community and it saw the unit but wouldn’t send to aux .only play usb or headphones. I was hoping it would just take the usb and send it where it says it was sending (1/2 aux o and the rest mains

From your screenshot the Aux is routed to Track Rig outputs 3&4. I don't think I understand your question. You have "Combine USB & Headphone Outputs" disabled. That means everything will be sent to the Track Rig.

Hello yes I am trying to route track 1 (click and cues) to the aux and all the others to 1/2
Headphone is 3/4 and mains are 1/2 but it will not allow and won’t play if I choose these settings.
So mains is what people hear and the second routing is headphone onstage mix

I tired it both ways. I can get sound only if I choose 1/2 for everything?

What I am trying to achieve is the ability to separate tracks when possible that are being sent out front and Have some flexibility for users in ear mixed also . The trackrig allows 8 separate xlr outs if user wants and if the mixing board can accommodate . But bottom line is that I am trying to get a stereo signal and if possible ,not use panning left for full mix and panning right for click. The Left /right panning would mean the front of house is a mono mix if I’m not mistaken.

I only have an XR18 and an X32 to test the aux and main routing feature and both have been working without problems the last time I checked. But I will check again to make sure that one the last updates did not break anything.

So what you are saying is that you can not route anything to another channel pair than 1/2? Try the following: Setup main to 3/4 and aux to 5/6. Does only one channel pair work or none at all?

Ok, Main would be headphones in this or will it allow USB only?
I couldn’t get aux or any signal to 3/4.

I don't understand your mention of "Headphones". I guess it depends whether you connect your headphones to output 1/2 on your audio interface. Or do you mean the headphone socket on the iPad?

Just tried routing with my XR18 and it works without issues. I can send Main and Aux busses to any channel pair on the XR18.

Hi Peter,
Do you foresee users being able to separate audio and send to separate channels?
I use track rig and it would be ideal for me to be able to send click to track one , and the next 5 o separate channels for control

Maybe in version 3.6 in summer. I will not make any modifications to the audio engine in version 3.5 now that it is finally stable again.

Until then I am using your software both ways. For backing tracks and for lyrics only.
When I use for lyrics only. Is there a way I can sync lyrics and scroll to the external audio the way I can using st3.

Currently no, but with version 3.5 you will be able to play lyrics only songs which mean you can timecode them.

So no taking breath for me 😉. Usually I take about 1 or 2 months off from development between feature releases but that was not possible this time due to the continued problems with the audio engine in version 3.4. I hope to have version 3.5 finished end of January / early February and this time without big issues leading to 10 patch releases.
