I need to play a song 2x in a row

I have the free version of this app on my iphone, which works with my Airturn BT200 S - except I have one problem. I made a playlist for a puppet show, and I have one song that needs to play twice in a row. It plays the first time and stops as it should, but when I try to start it the next time the time continues to count up from where it stopped instead of starting over. Of course it is the place in my show when I really need to use the foot pedal as I don't have a free hand!

piccadillypuppets hi, I have reported this fault a while back I assume Peter is working on it, I also suggested the song turns half blue and half yellow indicating that the now playing song is the next song to play again, otherwise you have no idea what is the next song.
I think what the issue is is when the now playing song is selected to be next the time clock remains on the end of the song instead of resetting itself to 0 setting meaning beginning of song so when you hit play instead of it playing itself it skips to the next yellow highlighted song and plays that song not giving you the ability to play the same song twice.
It appears to be a logic problem.
Hopefully Peter can fix this.

Latest update fixed the issue of songs not "Ending" properly. For the case of a song needing to play twice, I simply add to my song list the same song twice but with one named with a 1 and the end the other with a 2. that way you can add both and not worry about restarting a song etc

DaveT yes that’s a work around if you have time to do all that, but the fix is to be able to do this on the run, the software is geared up to be easily be able to do this, but it just needs fixing.
I am confident Peter will fix it if it’s possible at all.

I thought I did fix it in version 3.4.2 or 3.4.3. But you are right. This is still a problem. I can reproduce the issue and will fix it in version 3.4.5 which should be available next week.

I tried using a number on one version but it renamed them both (I use that trick when loading music on a cheap mp3 player for my puppeteers to get things in the right order. My next show is tomorrow. I'll try making two versions on itunes before I load it into the app and maybe that will "fool" it into thinking it's a different song.

piccadillypuppets i would have duplicated the song in ST3 folder renamed it then refreshed the ST3 database then copy and paste the Lyrics or text from song 1 one to song 2 if using lyrics , this way having the same song exactly the same with 2 versions just named differently, but this is a lot of work just to be able to play the same song twice back to back with ease.If i needed this on regular basis i would not be very happy so i am glad Peter is on to it i am sure it will be fixed as it is important.

If you can wait a couple of days until version 3.4.5, don't bother with setting up a workaround. This will definitely be fixed in 3.4.5.
