Can’t get Lyrics to display

I have an iPad Air 4 and can import songs from my library but I can’t get the lyrics to display. I believe I have everything on in the settings, any suggestions?

Make sure you have version 3.4.0 installed. Older versions had problems importing lyrics from the iTunes library.

Open song details and go to the lyrics editor. Do you see the lyrics there? If yes, make sure you open the big player view by tapping on the song title in the mini player.

I do have 3.4 but I do not see lyrics when I go to edit lyrics

Did you import the songs with version 3.4? Did you enter the lyrics in iTunes? Are they visible in the iPad music app?

I have always had 3.4. I can bring up the lyrics when I play songs in my library, not sure I can display every song but I tried a couple that I imported to stagetraxx and can bring them up in the library.

If you added lyrics yourself to the songs, I can't explain why they are not visible. If you did not enter lyrics but see them in the music app, then the explanation is clear: the music app can access a lyrics database to show lyrics for songs that basically do not contain embedded lyrics. These lyrics can not be exported due to copyright reasons.

So if you added lyrics yourself, try the following workaround: On your computer, drag and drop the songs to an iCloud folder and import from there.
