Moving files to a new ipad

Hi all, kinda new at this. Have around 1000 songs as I do a solo act, my iPad is now almost full. I plan to buy a bigger iPad with more storage. What’s the easiest way to move everything sends etc over without losing any songs/lyrics or data. Terrified if I make a mistake I’ll loose it all. TIA

Backing up your ipad like was said above me is one thing
But if you’re on ST3 you can also use the back and restore option in ST3.

If you’re almost out of space then do a DATA only backup then move everything
(The songs in the ST3 folder and the backup file)
into the new ipad and restore the backup file in the new ipad.

Backup the iPad on your computer. Then restore to the new iPad from that backup stored in the computer.
