I love how I can import more than one song at a time, but I would also like to import more than one lyric txt file or Docx file at a time and have it create a placeholder for each.

I will add it to my todo list, but I see this as a feature that should be combined with PDF file support. In a later release.

Hi Peter, I have 3 versions of my backing tracks of same song, 1 an acoustic version with just bass/drums, 2 a version with a click track for live drummer and 3 a versions of all instruments backing tracks for my duo. My question is there a way to import the lyrics I have already done into my 1 song other version, so i don't have to play each song live and add time coded lyrics to the same song 2-3 times (my 3 versions)., It would be great if i could just back up the lyrics files i have now and just import them into my other identical songs. Very long and painstaking doing it the way I am now. Any ideas would be great!! All 3 files of the song have a different name. (example: Lets rock_LIVE_DRUMMER.mp3 - Lets rock ACOU.mp3 - Lets rock DUO.mp3) so I have to redo lyrics cause the LIVE DRUM VERSION IS LONGER DO TO COUNT IN CLICKS 1234-1234 OTHER HAVE JUST 1234 CLICK FOR COUNT IN.

I know you asked Peter but I might chime in,

    I also have multiple versions
It’s all about templates and workflows for me

I make a multitrack project in Ableton for every song 99% are from Karaoke Version

These are edited as I see fit

They all start on measure 3
1 is a count for Drummer
    2 is the count in

Files are exported the full cycle range (as in from measure one)

The track if multitracked has all necessary parts split but also the Stereo Version has the 2 measure blank

When you copy lyrics or Midi Timestamps these will sync across all versions
Just use the auto trim start feature

The easiest way to get lyrics from one song to another is via copy & paste. Select the whole text in the audio editor, copy it, switch to the lyrics editor of the other song and paste it.

If you don't like that approach you could use the share button to write the lyrics to a text file, and then import this text file in the other song.
