I am using a Digit3 connected to the master iPad running StageTraxx , via AirTurn, to start/stop a track, raise volume etc during a gig. This does work fine, but at times I loose connectivity, and then have to manually control the tracks at the master iPad, which is physically connect to the mixer. When this happens, I really don't have time to mess with the AirTurn connectivity and resolve the connection since I'm in the middle of a performance.
I know that iTunes has an iTunes remote app which can run on an iPhone, that uses the network to send commands to the iTunes on the laptop which is connected to the mixer, to control the tracks etc. I know of sound engineers that prefer this method due to the reliability of a private network connection.
Is there plans to develop a remote app, that would communicate with the master iPad running StageTraxx over a network connection? I tried the master/slave network connectivity feature over my private network, but the slave cannot control the master, and the master must be physically connect to the mixer.
