Reporting unusual behaviour

Hi Peter, just lately I have noticed when opening PLAY HISTORY it takes a very long time to open and also if I hit CLEAR DONE and DONE to exit it takes a lot longer time to do these processes compared to previous versions. Using 2 different iPads , I pad air M3 chip and iPad Air 9th gen.
The other unusual behaviour is if I have a playlist open in side pane and I close ST4, when I open it again the same view is not preserved , the view always opens with playlists as default, my expectation is how I exit the program is how I return to the program, so as I finish preparing a gig and exit with playlists showing me all my songs for the gig when I get on stage and fire up the iPad and load ST4 it greets me with exact same screen to simply go for it .
I have a lot of playlists as they represent every gig,
Returning to exact point of exit of program would be more efficient.

Sounds like you have thousands of songs in the history. Clear the history from time to time. Then it will open quickly.

Deep linking into playlists unfortunately leads to crashes on iOS16 & iOS17 devices due to bugs in SwiftUI. In order to have a uniform behaviour on all iOS versions I have decided to not implement it on iOS18 and above.

Thanks Peter, i had 780 songs in history, i didn't realise i needed to delete the history to make the operation faster, but it did fix the problem, i normally clear done , but now i will also make it a point to delete the history as well.
That's a bummer regarding the second issue i thought it would be something out of your hands as it's logical and you would have done it already if possible.
