Anyone using Allen heath CQ 12 AND ST3?

Hi guys

I’m posting for a friend, he uses st3 to send fx changes embedded in lyrics to an external fx rack. He wants to bin the rack, splash the cash on the cq12 desk and just wants to know if anyone has any issues or whatever sending these type of commands to change scenes and move faders.

Kevtyler I have the CQ20B and have been using both ST3 and 4 MIDI to mute and press soft keys, and that works fine.
