Stage Traxx 4 an Audio 4C audio interface

Hi Peter,

I have an iPad Air and using Stage Traxx 4. Audio 4C interface. My setup is for a live show, simple setup, Outputs 1 and 2 track to FOH, Outputs 3 and 4 to click for drummer which we feed to his mixer onstage. I have setup a song with both stereo tracks and in the mixer page ( Stage Traxx 4) I have bus 1 out 1-2, bus 2 out 3-4 BUT the stereo track is playing in both 1-2 and 3-4, I cannot get the click to play out of 3-4. I've tried different cables...everything only plays out of its 1 and 2? Can you please help me. Regards Joseph

In the photo I dont have it hooked up to the Audio interface, but when I do, Bus 2 allows me to route to Outs 3 and 4, but it doesn't play through outs 3 and 4. The mixer shows level but that's all.

Are you sure your audio interface routes the outputs individually and don’t mix them together?
I had a similar experience at first, but my Focusrite was misconfigured in the mixer settings.

I was going to pose same question as @Chrysso

I just had a quick look at the manual for the iConnectivity Audio4c (https://iconnectivitysupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/28155196501531) and if you don't have it in the correct Routing Mode then it sounds like it will just mix the inputs down to a stereo pair. Looks like you need to be in 'Play USB 1' (assuming you are using Port 1) mode. But that is based on a 30 sec skim of the manual so I could be wrong! Someone else in the community using this interface might be able to confirm.

From what you described, your ST track -> bus -> output routing all sounds fine.
When you say "BUT the stereo track is playing in both 1-2 and 3-4" do you mean on the Audio4c interface or in the ST mixer? Again, making assumptions, but given you can't route a track to multiple buses in ST, I'm assuming you mean in the Audio 4c.

Do please clarify things if our assumptions are wrong.

The iConnectivity interfaces have a completely independent audio routing layer in the interface. Feeding something into channels 3/4 of the interface does not mean that it will be sent to the outputs 3/4 of the interface. You will need to configure the routing within the interface in the control panel app of that interface.
