Add remote actions for mute groups

Does anyone know if it Is possible to toggle a mute group with a Pageflip Airturn device? This would be amazing if possible.

Made a feature requests out of this. Currently mute groups can not be controlled via midi. But it makes sense to add remote actions for this.

the ability to mute certain tracks of a multi track tune by midi/bluetooth footswitch. Or the ability to apply and un apply mute collections via footswitch. I hope the terminology is correct, I’m very new to this/

This is already possible using Remote Control.

Although the concept of ”mute groups” doesn’t exist, you can:

Have your pedal mute multiple tracks at the same time
Mute a bus to which multiple tracks go
Assign the same MIDI message to multiple tracks (haven’t tested if this is possible)

Vedeja I think you can only select 1 midi command per track, if track 01 mute is CC22 for example, if you choose track 02 and assign the same CC22 to mute both, it erases the midi command on the first track and add it only to the second.

That’s the whole point on having mute groups.

Hopefully we have control over mute groups soon, also it would be great to assign multiple actions to the same Midi Command.

I am strictly against assigning multiple actions to a single midi command. That would be support hell for me trying to figure out funny behaviour because some users map unknowingly multiple actions to the same command (like start & stop and then complain that nothing works).

Technically Yes but Peter has said numerous times in the past that he has intentionally not made it possible as people are likely to get themselves into trouble creating unintentional MIDI loops.

@AnthonyB is correct. What I would think about is adding commands to the lyrics editor to trigger remote actions. That would allow the same automation possibilities without the problems created by infinite midi loops.
