peter Yes, the pedal has been recognized, though I have had it jump off of being connected to not connected (I'm not sure if that is my IPad, or what, but I don't remember this happening with ST3.). That being said, with ST3, I've had it happen numerous times that my footswitch doesn't perform it's midi assignment, which is concerning. When this happens, i just reprogram it and it works.
My steps: I first connect the midi pedal in the bluetooth settings of the IPad, then in the ST4 app. After that, I assign the buttons to different commands. However, this problem that I'm having with ST4 is that I still haven't gotten the midi pedal to perform any commands yet (even though I have programed them). So the app recognizes the choice when I press the button to set up the command, but it doesn't work when I press it to Start/Stop (for example).
