ST4 latest update possible bug in PDF handling

Today I updated ST4 to 4.0.2 (2570) and now appear to have an issue with PDF / Lyrics switching. Could be a bug.
To confirm the issue is repeatable I have shutdown and reopened ST4, shutdown and restarted IPad.

Issue1: The first PDF time marker ([pdf@00:00: p1.0] )in the first song of my playlist is not hidden like it should be when Lyrics are displayed. All other time markers in the song are hidden correctly.
Issue2: On a number of songs that have both PDF and Lyrics the ‘Toggle’ button does not appear in the corner of the PDF, only the ‘Edit’ button shows.
Neither of these issues were apparent yesterday when I was adding PDFs to my songs. I tried deleting and re-adding PDFs to the affected songs.

I tried adding an ‘Assignable Control’ button to the user interface to toggle between PDF and text lyrics. This button functions on the PDFs where the toggle button is shown but is inoperable on PDFs where the toggle button is missing.
Also, on the songs where the toggle function doesn’t work only the PDF is shown. The only way to access the text lyrics is via ‘info/lyrics’ button.

My guess is you did not place the pdf command on a separate line. Please post your editor view of the lyrics to see how it is written in the editor.

The toggle button is only shown if you have both pdf and lyrics with any content. So if it is missing, you only have either of those and then the assignable button will also not do anything. Makes sense, right?

peter Thanks Peter. All PDF commands are on separate lines and the songs missing Toggle button have both PDF, text and backing track.
I have attached pictures showing edit screen and play screen for 2 of the songs affected. For the songs missing the toggle button adding the PDF forces the PDF to be the default view whilst playing; like the ST3 did if you add a PDF.

peter update: The PDF commands showing up in the lyrics on the song “Ain’t No Pleasin You” is now fixed. I deleted the PDF commands, saved the song, then reinserted the PDF commands. The song now displays correctly.

peter Peter, I have found a way to fix the problem that I was having with PDF not showing ‘toggle’ button.
It is not the PDF that is the cause of the error .. I swapped out working PDFs with non working ones and the fault didn’t change. However, swapping out the text lyrics made the button re-appear. After further checks I found that entering a random letter (or number) as the first character in the text lyrics made the button re-appear. This works consistently.
Most of my text lyrics are copy/paste from other sites so I’m assuming they may have some embedded artifact that messes it up.
I have gone through my songs and added a character, which has sorted it for me. If you need examples of non-working text lyrics for analysis then let me know.

Keep up the excellent work on Stage Trax, it is a brilliant tool for rehearsing and playing live.
