Firstly thanks Peter for all the wonderful thought and work you have put into version 4. The mixer is a godsend.
I have a query about a possible feature which I believe many people are likely to find helpful. It relates to further expansion of the metronome functionality.
I am playing in a 4 piece band with a drummer who receives a click track I have created in my DAW (Sonar) as part of a multitrack song set up. The clicks which come with many downloadable purchased stems are often a mile away from the timing of the actual instrument stems, and unfortunately I have had to spend time aligning these with various audio stretching tools to match the often 12 or 15 stems in the track. Thus they are not in strict unwavering BPM format. The same would go for tunes with variable times, ralls. Etc.
So my query is, could you make a track or bus available to take the prepared click which is one of the stems, and have it drive the visual metronome timing? (and possible the audio metronome). This would be a big benefit to the drummer, and potentially to the rest of the band, via networking, to be able to take advantage of the great work you have already done to expand the metronome capability.
