Can't upgrade to full version of ST4 (in TestFlight mode)

UPDATE: Problem solved. Clicked on "Restore previous purchases" before doing the upgrade, and then it updated properly.

Issue Description: Can't upgrade to full version of ST4 (in TestFlight mode)
ST4 Build: 2518
Device: MacBook Air (M3)
OS Version: MacOS Tahoe 26.3 (beta)
Steps to Reproduce:
• Go to Settings in ST4
• Select Upgrade to full version
• Click on blue box saying "Upgrade from Stage Traxx 3"
• Get message "Account Not In This Store". Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store"
• Change to Swedish App Store
• Get "Cannot connect to App Store [in Swedish].
Expected Behavior:
Upgrade of ST4 to full version via the App Store
Actual Behavior:
Error messages telling that ST4 cannot be purchased in the Swedish App Store and can not connect.

I am in USA and get the same issue. I rolled back in TestFlight to V2501 so I could continue using ST4.
I have to stay with that until the full release arrives in the App Store. Hope then, once out of the TestFlight environment it will work. Not sure what to do if it doesn’t though……

Strange, I have heard of other users with this problem. I am on the German AppStore and did not see this issue. Only thing I can suspect is a hiccup in the Testflight environment. Definitely outside of anything I could influence in Stage Traxx. Those dialogs are displayed directly by the AppStore.

MarkGuitar Have you tried to click the "Restore previous purchases" that solved my problem? It was a linked text att the bottom of the Purchase/Upgrade window in ST4.

Yes!! That did it, thank you.

What I had to do was,

First tap on ‘Restore Purchase’. It thought about it for a while and spun around (for ages actually). Then it stopped. Didn’t say anything, just stopped spinning.

So then I selected ‘Upgrade from StageTraxx 3’. And that all worked just fine (asked for conformation etc)

So I am all set, Thanks for the tip.

I had a similar weird experience last night.
I've been using ST4 Beta on multiple iPads since day 1 of beta.
I did the Testflight 'purchase' when that rolled out the other week.
I had spent a few solid days with my iPads at home setting up Network Session related local lyrics, testing sync etc.

I got to a technical rehearsal last night, and on my Host iPad, as soon as I tried to start Hosting a Network Session, I got the 'paywall notice'. I had literally been using it a few hours earlier at home. No new build. Maybe I had rebooted the iPad (I commonly do this before heading to a rehearsal so they all start 'fresh') which may have been the trigger for this behaviour..

A few seconds of "WTF!?!?" annoyance... then pressed on "Upgrade from Stage Traxx 3" and it all went back to normal.

That's strange. The purchase information is automatically cached by iOS. ST4 queries your purchase receipt when it starts to unlock the features. So that means somehow the purchase info was not available at the time the app started. As far as I know that info is only cleaned in iOS when you switch to a different AppleID.

Oh, the other change that may have triggered it was that at rehearsal, the iPad had no internet connectivity as it was connected to our band router. This would have been the first time since the payment test was enabled that my iPad had been not internet connected.

No, the info is stored on the device. Could you maybe send me your logfiles?

Thanks, unfortunately I don't see any failed license detection attempts. Maybe I need to add more logging. What I can see is that you restored the purchase a bit later.
