Audio segment editor feedback on Mac OS

I am loving the fact I can assign the spacebar to activate Stop Start, this has definitely put a smile on my face.
Everything seems to work for me except one thing , the dreaded ZOOM system is frustrating , I need to zoom in and out all the time to create perfect audio segments not having the scroll wheel or a simple press of left button and drag up down to zoom makes the process very slow , is this a software limitation?
I use Twisted Wave to touch up audio and it has a simple left mouse point, press and drag up down to zoom quickly, it works a treat, ST4 on Mac is very slow to achieve a quick point of interest, can this be improved easily?
Apart from that, I am liking everything in the first 5 minutes of playing around on a 85 inch screen, that's my 2 cents worth not really using OS and ST4,
but now I have my spacebar stop start and hopefully a better zoom capability I might start using it more cause I love the big screen.

I can zoom in with the scroll wheel while pressing CTRL. This is a standard shortcut that works in all apps on Mac that support zooming.

It might be standard to computer geniuses but not to a musician that’s being creative.
That defeats the purpose of being quick, I might as well use the buttons provided,I am not a fan of any controls that need two hands and a very good memory to remember the combinations , I simply use one hand on the mouse and the other on the space bar to stop start, anything more becomes a chore , I only need simple zoom to make things flow fast, Logic has that many shortcuts that it’s impossible to use them, then when I accidentally touch a combination and something unexpected happens that takes me longer to figure out than the thing I was trying to do in the fist place.
A simple point and scroll would be much faster just like in lyrics screen where you just use the scroll wheel to move up or down.

Nope it does nothing , I’m using a Logitech MX Anywhere 3 for Mac mouse, but by accident I found if I left mouse button double tap on a region it conveniently zooms in and out of this segment, this is handy but not for all purposes.
My scroll wheel does nothing which I expect to simply point in to a waveform anywhere and scroll in and out which zooms in and out to any part of the song I need to tweak precisely.
This is very standard on a lot of software and it works well.
The fact that I can now stop start on space bar is fantastic , why is that not setup as default in the software?
Lots of users will never discover this on their own and it’s so useful.
As far as the zoom I can’t understand why it’s not possible to make the scroll wheel do this, it’s a waste of simple function on the mouse and it would bypass complicated operation that I still can’t get working.
I hit control and no matter what I do with the mouse nothing happens.
Is there something I am missing?

My honest feedback on Audio segments editor in OS , It’s frustrating to use after working in ST3 on iPad, which is much faster and easier to create a perfect end result.
Why?
If I use follow playhead , it paralysis you to a point where you need to turn it off.
If you turn it off then you are paralysed in a different way , it’s not fast and easy to zoom in and out of the project and you have no natural flow to create the perfect end result.
This is general feedback as I haven’t got time to explain in detail.
It’s only logic that’s the problem everything else is fine.
