I feel like i don't have freedom to manipulate my performance by using speed control on stage as it will greatly impact my next gig in a bad way, why?
The speed control is something you set at home, fine, i get to a gig and i find its just not perfect so i use my pedal to adjust ok, if i leave this new setting it will be used next time, as a fine tune of speed thats good, but i am very creative on stage and decide to use it at the end of song to really slow down the ending for impact, a once of in the moment thing, now I've just created an embarrassing moment at the next gig as the song will start very slowly because i had no time to reset this back to normal.
My suggestion is to make any settings of things like SPEED even PITCH or any other function that might be used to manipulate the audience as a temporary thing , and the default setting to be able to be set only in STOP mode, in play mode its temporary, to allow us to play around without fear of upsetting our default settings, otherwise whats the point of having all this remote control if we are scared to use it live on stage for a greater purpose then just a small tweak.
Perhaps allow default settings to be set in AUDIO settings which can easily be set at home.
On the night every gig is slightly different and should allow us to fine tune without fear if it will be ok on the next gig.
