How much space does ST3 take up?

How much physical space should ST3 take up.

im sorry to bother you, but something doesn’t look right here, I have just done a bit of work and wanted to create a back up and I received a low storage space warning.

I have deleted some stuff, and then went to check on my back up files and found ST3. using all this space.

It’s as though the songs used by st3 are all backed up on my pad, is this the way it is now. I did a data base only back up, which was rapid.

ST3 uses about 16MB and whatever you need for your songs. You have about 3.4GB of music in ST3. You need as much space for the backup as it contains all your songs.

Please note, once you created the backup, you can move it to your computer or a USB stick. No need to keep it in the ST3 folder. That will free up space.
