Master equaliser

Hi guys, just changed from st2 to st3 on a new ipad, and all the tracks sound muddy. Same mixer, same leads, and the master equaliser is set to flat amd halfway. Is there a preferred setting for the equaliser that makes everything a bit brighter? Many thanks

Well, if you think it lacks brightness (I highly doubt that since there is no difference in the played files between ST2 and ST3 apart from maybe different volume settings), just set the equalizer so that you like it.

peter no its just an equaliser setting but I cant check the old ipad for what it was set at if anything bit flat as its now in the bin🤣 i just wondered if there was a standard setting for general all-round sound that's all

For me the standard setting is flat 😉. I set the output eq only if I need to adjust for a bad sounding room and have no usable eq in the mixer.
