St4 testing, can’t see host.

Hi Peter

I’ve got an iPad 9 and 10 both on latest iOS versions, I’m trying to host a session, neither pad will see the host. I’ve tried hosting and connecting both ways around, i just can’t get the pads to see each other.

Any help appreciated.

All devices need to be in the same Wifi network. Also make sure iOS Settings > Apps > Stage Traxx 4 can access "Local Network".

peter thank you so much Peter, sorry to bother you with such an obvious issue. The additional host features like multiple pads being able to select and start songs is a real god send, this is what I’ve been hoping for in future editions of ST for some time. Being able to lose the annoying audio cable will stop a lot of issues for many of us who can now put our mixers and another pad in a safer location at rowdy gigs.

in addition to what Peter has mentioned, always make sure all devices have the same Build of ST4 from testflight.

Lastly (just in case), you can't mix ST3 and ST4, all devices have to be on ST4.
