Hi Peter
unfortunately apple wont let anyone with a Spanish apple account to add a uk credit card so I logged out and logged in with my fathers uk apple account and have purchased the app on his account. I have created a back up on stage Traxx 2 but was surprised as to how long the restore takes. It seems stage Traxx 3 has to scan every song on your iPad in the restore process, even those that are not included in any ST playlists, do I have that right ? It’s over 65 minutes I think. I have actually managed to crash ST3 and will try and add a video of what’s going on. I can’t find a way of cancelling the current import and if you close the app in the process ST3 seems to struggle when it’s next loaded. But it’s early days for me so I might have pushed the wrong button. I’m wondering is there an issue in version 3 with missing songs. In the past I used to create songs and drag them in to my pad, I’d label them 70s, irish songs, Scottish songs first set, 2nd set etc and then edit the playlists on ST2 to separate the songs by nationality or set name. I would then go in to my pad via iTunes and remove them, stage Traxx would then turn these titles red which was a great way for me to navigate on the fly. In the video you will see what I mean, so does ST3 Still offer to re associate missing songs is what I’m asking.
Will I’ll try and post the video soon
edit, hi peter regarding that 60 minute restore time, stage Traxx 3 is is treating the ST2 backs ups as full restores, not data base only . That’s not right is it ?
thanks Peter.
