This is a little niche so bare with me!
Not a major issue as I have a workaround.
This seems to be a regression introduced in build 1991 (or possibly 1977).
ST4 Build: 1991
Device & iOS Version: Network Host and Client both iPad 9th Gen, iOS 26.1.0
Issue Description:
When a Network Session client that
- Has the Remote Control password configured, AND
- Has local lyrics and Show Local Lyrics enabled
disconnects from the Host device, the Songs list no longer refreshes back to the local songs list. It continues to show the (now disconnected) Host songs list and there doesn't seem to be a way to 'reset' back to local list aside from closing and re-opening the app.
Previous builds would automatically reset the songs list to local on disconnect from Network Session.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Host Network Session on a Host device
- On a client device, that has some local songs for local lyrics, configure the Remote Control Password (which makes it display the Host device Songs list) AND ensure 'Show Local Lyrics' is enabled (this part may not be a factor).
- Connect the Client to the Host - The client will now display the Host devices Song List locally
- Manually disconnect the Client from the Network Session
Expected Behavior:
Upon disconnecting from the Network Session, the client should refresh Songs list from local.
Actual Behavior:
Upon disconnecting from the Network Session, the client is continuing to display the (now disconnected) Host devices Songs list and there does not appear to be a way to trigger a refresh back to local without closing and re-opening ST.
