Stage traxx 3 not playing when connected to mixer

Hello everyone. I just routed my stage traxx 3 app to play audio to my mixer, a Soundcraft ui24r, and when I hit the play button it won't reproduce any audio. I already tried resetting the app, closing any music app in the background of my phone, I disabled stereo output but it automatically reassigns it to a mixer channel. I also combined usb and headphone outputs but no luck. When I unplug the usb cable from my iPhone, the app reproduces the tracks just fine. It just happens that when I connect to my mixer, it won't play the song. Any tips or suggestions?

Does your mixer need to change the source of the channel inputs to USB?

Riff I don't think so. It is already receiving the tracks from stage traxx as you can see in the pic. It says Daw-7 through 16. Which is what I set up stage traxx channels as.

Has this worked in the past or is the first time you are setting this up?
When you say 'when I hit the play button it won't reproduce any audio' - can you please be more detailed on what is and is not happening. Is ST playing (i.e. playhead moving)? If it is playing, is this more likely a case of the internal routing is not correct in your mixer?
How is your iPhone connected to your mixer? What cables and adapters? Do we know if these components have worked before?

This is the first time I’m setting this up.
When I hit play, the play head does not move. It’s like I never hit play in the first place.
I’m using a brand new usb c to b cable. It does work because my mixer does detect it and routs it correctly as shown in the picture above.

This sound like the primary problem. What is your setting here?

In addition to @Vedeja question/suggestion above (if that doesn't turn out to be the answer), if you:

unplug the USB cable from your iPhone
Press play
..do the songs now play out the speakers? And playhead move?

In other words, ST works fine until you plug in the USB cable, and then pressing play does nothing when the USB cable is plugged in connecting it to the mixer?

Is this possibly a sample rate setting mismatch? I've not seen it behave this way, but it wouldn't be the worst idea to rule it out. I don't see an sample rate config option on the Soundcraft but in ST the setting is here - https://stagetraxx.com/user-guide/settings/#internal-sample-rate - what is this currently set at? What sample rate are your files?

Troubleshooting idea: if you connect your mixer via usb to some other source (for example a computer with a DAW) - does it make sound then?

I have already answered via email.

There are errors in the log that indicate that the connection to the mixer fails. It does not really disconnect, but it can not be talked to. So my guess is the cable is at fault.

I've also have a Ui24r, and it is impossible to have a stable USB connection,
I think that this is a well known problema with UI24R Usb 🙁 I'm think about changing the mixer just because of this.
