Struggling with ST3 & Loopy Pro

I'm struggling with integrating ST3 and Loopy Pro on an iPad. The main thing I want to do is simply use Loopy Pro to select the song in ST3 to match its project and then start and stop it. I'm having real problems with it working reliably, although it seems to work sometimes.
I have a widget in LP that sends a midi message (PC127@16) via a virtual midi port to ST3 to select a song.
This correctly shows up if I use, for example, Midi Wrench to monitor the midi messages.
If I use a hardware keyboard to send the same patch, it reliably switches to the right song in ST3
If I trigger with the LP widget, it doesn't.
Any clues?

I‘m not familiar with Loopy Pro. If Loopy Pro has a virtual MIDI output, try to enable it. Stage Traxx will automatically connect to it.

I‘m not familiar with Loopy Pro. - It's a fantastic app for looping. I have replaced my Boss RC-600 as Loopy is so much better! Anyway, thanks for the quick response. Loopy does support virtual Midi and midi wrench shows messages correctly in the midi monitor. But ST3 doesn't seem to react. I can't see a way to configure the Midi input on ST3, although I found the output setting. Am I missing something?

ST3 does not have a virtual input. Therefore if you want to receive midi from another app, that app needs to provide a virtual output.
