I was testing and switching between mixer view and lyrics view in portrait mode, I was also using pinch zoom on the lyrics above the mixer at the time , as I got the lyrics the right size I then closed the mixer and lost audio , the lyrics were in manual mode the song appeared visually ok but no sound, as I placed the lyrics in to auto scroll the audio returned at exact time of switching , I had no sound for around 30 seconds.
The auto scroll return button was the key to get sound back
