Lyrics editor unusual behaviour

iPhone 16 pro max 26.0.1 ST4 1937
when selecting a NEXT audio segment , then entering lyrics editor while song is playing It seems as though the flashing rhythm of the next segment is making the text in lyrics editor jump up down ,
I tried to load a 5 second video without success.
The request payload was too great.

I see another problem though: The playback position is not updated in the waveform.

peter Yes, I was able to reproduce it:

iPhone iOS 26.0.1

Play song
Select some upcoming audio region
Go to lyrics editor

Expected: lyrics showing steadily
Actual: lyrics scroll one row up and down, repeatedly. Top row buttons flash.

Yes no playhead movement.
I think the movement is related to the flashing of audio segments.it seems to have same timing.

BTW, it isn't just an issue going into Lyrics editor. I repro'd but just went into the Song Details page and THAT page is scrolling up and down one row repatedly. Even after I stopped the song playback (using Play/Pause button in bottom left corner), the page is still oscillating up/down! Extremely weird to watch!! 🙂

I'm on ST4 1937, iPad 9th Gen, iOS 26.0.1

Ok, I can currently only test on iOS16 and 18. This seems to only cause problems on 26.
