Bad logic, a loop is playing , you STOP/Pause , you tap this loop again to select it next to play from beginning, it progresses through the MODES instead, why? you are in STOP there is nothing to loop stop or pause, the tap action in STOP mode should allow you to reselect this loop to beginning of loop .
At the moment the only way you can try to restart is by selecting another loop which by the way does not highlight and then go back to the loop you actually want, but this again does not work because again you have just enabled permanent loop , if you then go back to the other loop you now have two permanent loops you never wanted and still no res election of the
Loop you paused in the first place, this is not workable ,
My way of thinking is whatever you do now is immediate and obvious.
You touch a loop in STOP it highlights to indicate its next and starts from beginning.
You touch the now PLAYING loop again means you want to repeat it once, and flashes to indicate its going to do this, double tap locks this action till you tap one more time to release,
As i said before , get rid of the ARROW AND STOP , use arrow for a better purpose which i already suggested and give users a programable stop in Segment editor,
Arrow pops up only to indicate you are jumping to another loop, not the next door loop but another distant location , and only appears as you are actually doing this , canceling NEXT loop gets rid of the ARROW,
I wont go through all the other scenarios as i have done it in other posts.
But all of my suggestions are tied up together to create a smooth and friendly way to have freedom to create any scenario needed with minimal TAP dancing.
I know there are bugs in this area still to fix , but i am getting that warm feeling things will fall in to place very nicely i already like it much better after a few changes of behaviour.
I will see how things progress in this area but thats it for now.
