So many Volumes.

Looking for advice here….

I usually just Busk, so have 2 volumes to think about. Backing Tracks and Guitar. So, guitar is easy, now Backing Tracks are much more complicated for me looking at ST4.

I now have iPad Volume, and in ST4 I have Track 1, Song, Master and Bus1 volumes I can adjust. I don’t use Multitrack songs just simple mp3’s. My guess is set overall volume on iPad and just adjust Song volume if needed for individual songs.

Any help/advice appreciated

For simple stereo songs use the integrated volume normalization to set the track volume. Then keep song volume and bus volume at 0dB and use the master volume to make on the fly adjustments to your backing tracks volume.
