Change bus for Click or remove it

Hi
I don’t use the inbuilt click as all our tracks have a dedicated click track which is synced to the multitracks of the song.
I can’t see any way to change the bus number (12) that the in-built clock uses. I would like to use bus 12 for other things. Can it be changed? Better still, can I disable and remove the fader for the click and its bus use?

Ditto, don’t use Click so would like to hide it in Mixer.

I guess the click channel could be hidden whenever a song is loaded where the metronome is disabled.

It’s not just the hiding of the click related gui elements (which would be great) but also the freeing up of bus 12 (or any bus dedicated to the click) if it is not used.

I'm in same position - I'm either using my own Click audio track or doing a song where I don't need a metronome. If I ever did use it, I'd probably just use the visual metronome cue.

I do like the idea of "if no Metronome settings are configured on a Song, then hide the associated Click channel/bus in the mixer" to declutter UI.

You can already collapse buses. It will then only show buses in use. Thats the button to the right of the buses.

Yes but it would be nice to shrink the mixer to only needed faders for stereo users or no audio users and just click users , this would show the beginning lines of lyrics which might be more useful than unnecessary waste of space in the mixer so that the mixer only shows what a song is using, simplifying it to each specific need in a song making it more pleasant for simpler users.

That’s a nice feature but doesn’t do either of the things I have mentioned.
IE

Remove the click fader if not used
Free up the use of Bus 12

Hope that makes senses.

Showing less tracks in the mixer will not make it less tall. It will shrink lyrics by the same size.

If you don't use the click and it is routed to Bus 12, you can use Bus 12 for everything else you want. The click is off and will not interfere. It's not like you could send only one signal to a bus.

I think the request was to remove visually the click fader if it’s not needed to simplify the mixer and save space.
Which I agree , anything that’s not needed by the users should not be present on the interface to keep it very simple for those that run simple.

Yes, hiding the click channel if not enabled in a song is something I can definitely do.
