peter Which commands? There have been no changes to sysex. Especially not in version 4.0.1 which is the only difference compared to the last beta. And which midi commands have been erased? The ones in the settings? Did you maybe migrate your data again from ST3?
jfduval I migrated from Beta (4). The MIDI commands were the actions assigned in Remote Control (activated by a MIDI pedal), as well as the SYSEX commands entered in the MIDI settings section, in LOAD, PLAY and STOP, which control my VoiceLive Play.
jfduval If I install a full backup from when everything was working correctly, will it also reinstall the MIDI commands that were saved at that time? I have a backup that's about a week old.
peter Yes, the midi commands are stored in the backup. The remote actions are not restored as they are considered device specific.
jfduval Good news, it works with the backup. Now I'll try to figure out why! The most likely cause is a difference in my data...
jfduval I found it. I forgot to add SX at the beginning of my sysex commands. Now, let the music play!
Henrik Hi any idea why this SysEx is not working in ST4? Sending the same code from SysEx Librarian to Gigcaster 8 give a mute on ch 1 and it works. ; SYSEx --- Start [midi@00:01.17: F0 41 10 00 00 00 00 1F 12 7F 10 10 00 05 4D 05 4D 05 51 05 51 05 52 05 52 05 52 05 52 05 52 05 52 05 50 05 50 05 52 05 52 05 52 05 52 05 4D 05 4D 05 52 05 52 05 52 05 52 05 4F 05 4F 05 52 05 52 05 4D 05 4D 05 52 05 52 05 35 05 51 05 52 05 4E 05 52 05 47 05 52 05 52 4E F7] ; SYSEx --- End
