restarting ST4 and menus

So when i restart the app it goes back to the top of the playlist song list, in other words, my songs are sorted alphabetically, and so the first 10 or so songs on the list are shown even though in the player section the song shown on top (the name and session time, remaining time) and lyrics is showing the last song i selected.
I expect to see on the left the song and the ''next" selection and not the top of the list

on the other hand, when i slick on the 3 dots on the top right and select setting after making any adjustments, say the xfade settings, and then i close that window and open it again later, i want to see the "settings" page again and not be taken back to the xfade page.

So, with regards to the Settings menu specifically, this is consistent with ST3 behaviour, i.e.

Go into Settings
Go into any sub-menu
Exit Settings by clicking on Playlist or Song button
Go back into Settings
you will enter at the sub-menu you previously left.

There are times I like this (e.g. when I'm jumping back and forth between main screen and Audio Routing sub-menu changing routing or doing a round of Region creation/editing, in the Song Details it will default to the Region tab if that was the last tab I viewed on another song) and times I don't (e.g. when I want to go into Settings to go into another sub-menu).
Depending on the scenario, it costs or saves a click or two. I honestly can decide which is 'better' in general.

I'm not quite understanding your other example of Playlists, and sorting, etc.

Go to a song in the middle of your list (live playlist) for example "No woman no cry"
close the app
open the app.
the app opens and doesnt show me No woman no cry it shows me africa.
ST3 opens up where I left it. last song to be selected is when the app opens.

Menus open up where you last had them.
I'd like to ask if the behavior can be the same as ST3

I made special effort to open settings exactly on the page you left it. I often change properties on the same page until I like them. It would be a lot of extra effort having to navigate to the page every time I open the settings. It is also consistent with how apple apps work: open settings in Safari and select a tab, then close and reopen setting and the tab is still visible. So I won't change this.

But I agree, opening the song list (or a playlist) should automatically scroll it to the loaded song.
