DickyDutch I’m finding that when a song has finished playing and the next song in the queue is loaded, the lyrics are scrolled down several lines and do not start at the top. It is not until the play button is pressed that the lyrics scroll up to the top.
peter Hm, seems to work fine for me. Do you have more details? Is this with the current version? Timecoded lyrics or not?
DickyDutch Hi Peter, the problem happens with the current version 4753 when the ‘hide song list in playback’ button is set to on. It happens on both my iPads (but not only on certain songs which timecoded) but goes away if you turn the latter button off. Can you please see if you can replicate it.
DickyDutch Sorry that should have read ‘but only on certain songs but not all - note all of my songs are time coded’
peter There must be something else involved. I tried it with maybe a dozen different songs and could not reproduce the problem.
DickyDutch Spent all yesterday evening trying to better understand the problem that I’m seeing. I have now discovered that if the preceding song has time coded lyrics then when it finishes, the lyrics of the next song (regardless of whether it has time coded lyrics or not) when loaded will not be displayed at the start of the song. The problem does not occur if the lyrics of the preceding song has no time coding. Also the problem won’t occur at all if the ‘hide song list in playback’ button is turned off. As I said earlier in this thread I see this problem on both of my IPADS.
peter That's not it, at least not for me. I am still not able to provoke this problem. It doesn't matter whether the first song has timecoded lyrics or not. Which iOS version are you using? I have only been testing on iOS13.
DickyDutch Both my iPads are running iOS 13.3.1. It’s most strange that I have the problem and you don’t!
