Size of app on ipad

Hi my iPad storage says that the stage traxx app is 9 gigs in size, but my multi track folder is only 4.2 gigs or so in size, is this normal.
It's just that I can't do a backup due to lack of space.

Maybe you created a backup and it's still sitting in your trash. Empty the trash in the Files app. That should clean up the space.

Thanks guys I think what might have happened is I tried to backup a few months ago it failed due to lack of space but then the app wouldn't play the songs and the titles were all in red, so I just replaced all the tracks from Icloud back into the app, could that be why it's showing up as such a big file

No, I don't think so. Check with the Files app for any big backup files in the Stage Traxx folder.

At the moment I don't have a backup saved just a multi track folder with 455 mp3s
