Transfer all my tracks to a another musician.

Hi, hope you’re doing well. I used to handle backing tracks for a band. But I just a bigger gig and it’s not possible to continue playing with them. The vocalist has ST3, how can I transfer all the songs to him? What’s the procedure?

OrozP two simple ways,
1 go to song mode select EDIT choose all songs you need to transfer , then select export, bottom right of screen, choose a destination , then send this .stsa file to your friend , he simply imports this file and will have all the songs plus any of their settings like lyrics , audio segments etc.
2 go to settings , create a full backup and send that to your friend this will make a full copy of your ST3 on his device , this is only good if that’s what you need otherwise use method 1

OrozP you can also do this in a playlist which is more efficient as you don’t have to go through all your songs if you have a lot of them , that’s if you have created a playlist already otherwise use song mode.

I can't select all the songs. It just lets me select the songs within a letter, only the ones that begin with A, or B, or C, but not all of them at once. What am I doing wrong?

OrozP I don’t have that problem, have you the latest software? If not update your operating system and ST3 to the latest software if possible, then turn off your device and back on again and try again, there is a way to select all songs by selecting the tick at bottom left in edit mode then unticking the songs you want to leave out , this option is handy if you have more songs that you need than not otherwise just choose the few you need.
Your problem is definitely not normal , you should be able to select all the songs you need.

OrozP Seems like you are on MacOS. The shift modifier only works within a single section on MacOS, so if you want to select songs from another section you need to select them one by one with the cmd key pressed. Or you tap on the select all icon in the toolbar if you want to select all songs.

Well that sucks! Apple does it again.
That’s probably another reason I do all my prep on IPad.
Do the Apple system developers talk to each other?
Perhaps they text and that’s why we have the operational inconsistency 😂
