Mid Learn issue- not working ,

Hi,
I’ve been using Stage Traxx to control the pre sets on my Line 6 Helix for few years, no problem. Unfortunately recently I attempted to use the ‘midi learn’ button in the Lyric editor but it doesn’t work any more ,. It only registers a channel change on the Helix when I press the first pre set. When I play the song and use Midi Learn and try to change a setting in Helix ‘mid song’ (guitar solo), it doesn’t register any change. Any ideas ????
Used to work fine. All same gear.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe the setting change sends multiple midi commands. Midi learn only retains the last sent command. Try to use midi learn in the lyrics editor while playback is running. It will then continuously record all received commands.

Hi Peter,
Just re watched a Helix video on linking Stage Traxx to Helix and spotted my issue ,.
In the last Helix update Line 6 must have turned off the setting to ‘Send’ ‘Snapshot’ messages via MIDI. I’ve changed this setting in the Helix back to ‘On’ and now everything works as it used to. Thank you for the prompt reply.
I’ll check all my settings in Helix next time there’s an update !!!.
