Not seeing my purchase

I purchased ST3 a few years ago, love it and still use it. My question is about licensing, I have been using on both my tablets, a very old iPad mini 3 or 4, and an iPad Air 2, they are both only used for playing tracks. My wife mirrored mine for performing, but also had the same back, in case a battery died, or mine stopped working.

Recently the Stage Traxx on the mini stopped accepting backups. The the Air began cutting 1 or 2 seconds off the beginning of tracks. So we decided to remove the app from both pads, and reinstall them. The Air installed and updated with all our tracks again just fine. But the mini shows it installed as the free version, but asks for $25. Is it $25 per iPad? It obviously wasn’t before.

I’m good with it, I just want to know. We only need to mirror mine, if it can still do that the other will simple do that. Thanks in advance, love ST3...awesome with my midi

I just checked and it cannot join a session on the free. So in my case, I have the same instance of ST3 on my devices with my tracks that I preload for performing with freelance musicians. It’s been killer to just give them tablet connected to mine. Will each musician need their own?

SweetSixx Hi Peter and all, my suggestion is to change the settings in how people read the purchase or restore purchase to get rid of this consistent confusion once and forever.
If you load the free version then I would firstly label the settings area APPLE APP STORE so it’s clear to where you are going, and the label should be PURCHASE FULL ST3 VERSION in description if you have already purchased the software then this message should read something like UPDATE SOFTWARE or similar so there is absolutely no confusion regarding are we purchasing again or are we just updating .
This seems to be a major problem for new customers because of the unclear wording in settings.
It is better to have more accurate descriptive writing than a short version that’s confusing , there is plenty of space in settings.
I always thought this was an area that needed polish.
Yes just go through with the install again and you won’t get charged if you are using the same Apple account as Lishy pointed out.

SweetSixx just restore your purchases and it will work. All iPads that have a different Apple ID will need to purchase it separately.

Apple has updated the way in app purchases work recently. I have implemented the new mechanism in Stage Cue to see how it performs and it performs without flaws. Purchases are automatically restored when installing an app on a new device. Stage Traxx 4 will also use that new machism and I except these issues to be gone in the new version.
