How do I connect my Sounbrenner Pulse with Stagetraxx 3?

Wow.. I was curious to learn more about the device, and then saw that they do support MIDI Clock tempo sync, but it's REALLY convoluted and messy.. That said, their MIDI Support is listed as being in beta.

But I can't see how reliable the tempo sync would be with a source device given all the hops from the source to the watch and the protocols in use.

The general problem with this is that while it would be possible to sync the tempo with Stage Traxx, the beats will not match the audio playing. As long as Stage Traxx has no way to locate the beats in the audio file, any kind of metronome makes no sense.

Im wanting to control the Soundbrenner with Stagetraxx. So when I hit play, Stagetraxx midi sends the tempo to the Soundbrenner. Stagetraxx has the lighted tempo but I need an audible click or synch to my device so when im playing during a gig I know the constant tempo. I did upload my own click. But sometimes the band wants to play faster or slower. I love the tempo on stagetraxx. Just wish it had a audible click to go along with the lighted tempo.

Mgcop77 I did get something working. As an alternative, you might want to try MIDI NOTE ON. Basically create a Midi track and use your Soundbrenner as a programmable personal silent drum machine. Not going to help in ST3, but if I have understood comments on ST4 when it becomes available, this option might work.
