peter For 2: just overwrite the video file in the Stage Traxx folder. That's all you need to do to update a video.
Yeah, I know, just like audio files in ST.
I never touch ANY files on the iPad.
All the files I'm producing have unique names for version control, and I'm getting them onto the iPad via a cloud drive (usually Microsoft OneDrive, sometimes Google Drive).
So copying the file over the top with the same name would add more steps as I'd have to rename the latest version to a generic name and either bring it through the same workflow, or make a copy on the iPad of the uniquely named file, then rename it, then copy it., etc.
There's a lot more steps involved.
peter For 5: But any color choice could lead to this issue when the video background matches the app background.
Agreed. That's why I also suggested the video frame which still would've helped me with my black background videos and black app background. A red border video frame would stand out. And also why I suggested making the frame/backgound colours selectable in Settings as at some point in time you'll always end up with something that doesn't suit your chosen default colour scheme, in which case you can change to any colour to suit.
