Help for Newbie Backup

Hi I just started using Stagetraxx 3 to begin compiling my songs.
I had many of them saved to my ipad and I saw that you could do a backup to icloud
I pressed the button to do a backup and all my songs disappeared never to be found again
I pressed restore backup and nothing was there
I have been starting over again and I want to save this so it can be retrieved
I am nervous about losing everything again what is the best way?
Also I saved some songs on the ipad as multitracks but somehow when I turned the ipad back on there was a copy of the multitrack song but also the same song 8 times but each one only made up with individual audio files with the same name
If I delete these extra files will it erase the audio tracks on the mutitrack song?

This can only happen if you activated iCloud on another device where no songs have been present. The app warns you that the cloud is already initialized and all local songs will be deleted. You have to confirm this warning then to enable iCloud.

The best way to restore this situation is to keep iCloud Sync enabled and then restore a full backup file. If you have not created a full backup file yet, you are out of luck. You could try to restore a full iPad backup if you have that. But apart from that there is no way to restore the deleted songs.

Regarding those files you want to delete: I don't know what files these are. If they are in the Stage Traxx folder and you have no songs in Stage Traxx, I guess you can delete them.
