Hi Peter,
I have been using Fadr for a while to create Stems (both MP3 and Midi). I have only used the MP3 stems - but I just found out, that when you download the Midi stems, you also get a CSV file with the Chords for that specific MP3 file that you have just created stems for!
It has the following properties:
Chord;Starttime;Endtime
I was wondering, if this could be used in ST3? - currently I have to type chords manually into a Word document, before i convert to a PDF, and finally importing in ST3. (I have used Lyrics section also, but I have so many notations beside the lyrics, that PDF is my choise).
How those chords could or should work with PDF (or lycrics) I am at a loss for - but I hope that you or some other of these great people here can see sollutions/options. The problem of manually finding the chords and typing them (with their formatting) is a huge job, when you have several setlists!
This CSV list is not perfect - it seems like it is only major/minor (I could be wrong), and there are the usual issues with <.> representing decimal and <,> representing seperator. Also the chords themselves use <:> as a seperator for Minor/Major (Like A:Minor)
A normal csv file would look something like this (Short sample):
chord,start,end
G:maj,11.60997725,15.510929606000001
B:maj,15.557369515000001,18.854603054000002
E:min,18.901042963000002,21.408798049
D:maj,21.455237958,22.523355865
C:maj,22.569795774,26.284988494
Any idéas or thoughts on this? 🙂
Kind regards
Kenneth
