  • No Songs or playlists in ST3 on Mac OS Sequoia 15.4.1

Hi everyone,
i have installed the latest ST3 on the latest Mac OSX and after it has synced all the files, i get nothing on the screen. No songs, no Playlists, nothing. The files are definatley downloaded into the ST3 folder on the Mac but nothing shows up in the App itself. Anyone have any ideas for me to try?

    FIXED:
Hi Peter & anyone reading my post, I found out what the problem was, and now ST3 is working wonderfully well.

I'm not sure if it is a default setting of a new installation (New Mac) of OS Sequoia 15.x or the OS update itself, however, after looking through my "Settings" then under "iCloud", i found that the "Access iCloud data on the Web" was turned off! Sync was actually downloading the files to my Mac but the playlists and song titles etc were not showing up in the App.

Sorry for any confusion Peter, I have loved the is App since Scott Uhl (hope i got it right?) brought it to my attention.
    Thanks again

Hm, that settings seems to be on by default. I have never touched it and it is on. But I'm not sure it should affect the syncing process. What does indeed affect the syncing process is if you did not allow Stage Traxx to access iCloud in Settings > iCloud > Saved to iCloud (See All). Here Stage Traxx 3 needs to be enabled. But again, by default it is enabled.

You are putting a lot of trust in ICloud.
I would never do what you do.
    Why?
    Firstly it takes longer.
Too many things could go wrong and give me unnecessary bad results.
Why not make a Full Backup on one device and simply load that in to your new device than turn on your iCloud for minor changes before making any changes.
iCloud has too many confusing settings it would be much simpler to introduce an iCloud on off switch in every individual apps settings in the operating system and a simple iCloud main settings in its own settings , instead of a very confusing unfriendly way it does it now.
That way the main iCloud on off is in its own settings and individual app iCloud on off is in their own settings this is much simpler to use and understand now we have a dogs breakfast system settings for iCloud in the IOS.
And all devices to have the same system to reduce confusion.
Are you listening APPLE designers , wakey, wakey, hands off snakey .😂
