Alternative to play count - Last Played?

Hi Peter,

As an alternative to the 'Play Count' field which I have never found any use for, could we have a 'Last Played' field containing the date and time of a song's last outing?

As with previous requests I have made for additional (ideally, user-defined) properties for songs, could this be a sortable field?

This would be very useful during band rehearsals to provide a list of all the songs that have not been played for a long time and therefore, need to be practiced.

DuskDave a way (not good) to check this currently is: you tap the song as you are about to play it and make it highlighted in blue then you go to history and scroll fast down. You should pass it (it will be still highlighted and obvious) and the check the date you played. You can scroll some more and see previous dates as well.

A calendar menu per song showing this kind of data, while not super important, might be really cool to have (if it is easy to be implemented).

Hi Dave, I agree with your ideas, I think HISTORY in ST3 is the most under utilised feature of the app, it could and should do so much more , it’s only designed to help you for the existing gig and it does not do much to provide easy help to create new gigs , I personally play at gigs where a lot of the same audiences will hear me , so I need to know exactly what I played in the past at every gig so I can rearrange my songs to not be playing the same songs over and over again, so to me the history is useless as it does not neatly save my individual gigs in to a nice dated playlist type of arrangement , because I have a ship load of playlists which are my actual gigs, I would love to be able to shift these playlists in to the history and keep the DONE song markers in them so I can see what I have played that night , this way my playlist section would only have my upcoming gigs and my HISTORY would have my already played gigs with all the DONE songs in tact , clear DONE should be only an option for the PLAYLIST and not the history as you want to keep this data.
This way you can go to history find a suitable gig load it to playlist rearrange the song order as you can see what songs you have not played there last time because the DONE songs have not been removed then clear done and you have your next gig ready for that venue.
At the moment I never really use history for anything I only use clear DONE which clears all songs and I have no use for it, my playlists are my history and unfortunately when I clear DONE all the DONE history in my playlists are gone.
Peter I suggest make history like the PLAYLIST area and allow us to keep all our playlists there we want to keep and DONT CLEAR DONE in the HISTORY playlist so we can really use this as HISTORY and then we can thin down are up coming playlist area.
This would make me use HISTORY for a useful purpose.
