Transfer Multitracks into St3

Hello Peter,
I've now integrated about 500 songs as "lyrics only" into my Stagetraxx3 app. I love this application. So far, however, I haven't used the multitrack features, but have only organized the songs into setlists and played the chords and lyrics via PDF, because in many cases, six tracks aren't enough. Now that eight tracks are possible, I'd like to use them as well and save myself the trouble of connecting to the other app. The effort alone of bringing my existing MP3 tracks into Stagetraxx seems very high. Is there a way to automatically import them using the song name and assign them to the instrument tracks? That would be a huge help.

No, there is not automated way to create multiple multitrack songs in one go. Maybe in version 4 but that will have a flexible output routing so track 1 can be sent to any output. Not sure how to model that when you can only work with filenames to identify files that belong to one song.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Peter. I can well imagine that something like this isn't easy to implement. The combination of Stagetraxx3 and Multitracker works quite well via MIDI commands. And I'm very happy with Stagetraxx. However, I couldn't use the included loop feature for rehearsals when the MP3 tracks are stored elsewhere.
So I'll get to work and enter the tracks manually into Stagetraxx.

It seems that this feature is mostly standard on hardware backingtrack players. I name it like this:

01 uptown funk
02 uptown funk
03 uptown funk
04 uptown funk
…

and then
01 will be routed to output 1
02 will be routed to output 2
…

Right now i need to assign 8tracks for 40 songs manually. Pretty sure i mess up something when clicking 320 times 🥳
