I teach indoor cycling, and this app has been a GAME CHANGER. Having a platform where I can play my music, and see my interval cues all in one has been crucial.
I’m curious if there are any other instructors here, and what features you would like to see 🙂. I sent an email with a couple suggestions this morning, but ill share them here too!
Would love it if we had the ability to change the size of the waveform to make it larger. Reading the highlighted lyric cues is great, but I find that I rely more on the visual waveform to reference my placement in a song. Sometimes I wish I could make that larger on the page.
I'm also wondering if there would be a way to "beat skip" while editing audio regions. I’ve been using other dj software to quickly map my music. Many have a feature that allow you to skip a certain number of beats (4, 8, 16, 32....) once you have set your first cue. You can set how far you want to skip, and then quickly jump forward or backward to add your next cue.
Right now I map them using mixx, and just write down the times. Then I go into stage traxx, edit the audio regions, and just type on the times. It works, but feel like extra steps. Turly, if stage traxx had this feature, It would be the only platform I need!
I have no musical background, so for a simpleton like me, this has been helpful, to quickly find my interval/cue points. Sometimes a song has clean 32 count phrases and its easy to find the musical changes, but some get a little bit messy with areas of shorter and longer phrases.
Anyway. Wonderful app! Wanted to share and see if there was anyone else like myself! 🙂
