iPad master and slave question?

Hello, just wondering if there is any way to do this -
I have a MacBook that’s running stage traxx and sending out all the audio/lyric sheet BUT I want to be able to start and stop the tracks remotely from an iPad. I don’t want to have to look round to our drummer to tell him “next”
Is this possible? Can the iPad control the master computer?

harrymusic95 just use a Bluetooth remote that’s hooked up to your master ST3 device, this can be foot or hand controlled depending on type of remote that suits you.
AirTurn has a number of options but there are lots to choose from other brands as well.
You can’t do it from a slave iPad, perhaps in ST4 that’s coming up.

adding to the options Damir mentioned - or a MIDI controller (pedal, keyboard, trigger, virtual synth on iPad, something with buttons on iPad that can send MIDI note/controller info). But no, ST3 running on the client iPad cannot act as transport control for the Host iPad running ST3. This is definitely a feature that a few of us have asked about for consideration for ST4 (estimated for release end 2025).

Correct, remote control from another iOS device will be possible to some degree in version 4.
