I several times had the issue that songs suddenly „dissapear“ and cannot be found anymore. It seems this happens if two songs have identical title and artist. One version was with pdf thenother one with text, attached to different playlist and also had different keywords.
Is that a (known) bug or am I doing sthnwrong?
I need more information from you. When exactly do they disappear. Do you use cloud sync? What steps can I make to reproduce the issue?
Yes I do use cloud sync. Synched everything. Realized a song missing during a gig 
so at home recreated the song (new song, lyrics only). Having a song with exact same name/artist as multitrack song that is still available. Then added a pdf to the new song, added it to a playlist and added some keyword to the song. About a minute later or so the song was „not there“ anymore.
When I created a new one again only with another song title it remains, to my impression it only occurs when title and artist are idemtical
So you have a (1) multitrack audio song AND (2) lyric only song with the same Title and Artist?
Peter can confirm whether ST3 technically supports that, but in general, that feels like a really bad idea. Especially as we start to look forward to ST4 later this year where there won't be different types of songs (i.e. multitrack audio, lyric only) - your migration path will be.... messy.
Is there a reason why you are using the same Song Titlefor both song types, as opposed to giving them some variation, e.g.
Song titles generally don't need to be unique. But there are some countermeasures in the cloud sync code that try to prevent duplicates. And they check specifically for a match of title, artist and audio. So if all 3 match, ST3 considers a song to be a duplicate and will remove it.
This mechanism will no longer be needed in version 4 but it is necessary in version 3.
So for now, you should make sure that your songs differ in either title or artist.
@peter tnx for that feedback - corresponds and confirms what I expected 
@AnthonyB need it because I am managing different bands which may have the same song, one with MT, another without, one with PDF as lyrics/chord sheet the other with ST3 lyrics, time coded etc - even the song structure itselt may differ depending on the band so no way to use one song and playing around with MT on/off or transposing ....
To me solution may now be either to add a shortcut for the band in the songtitle or to "forget" the original artist and use the appropriate band as artist name

You don't need to forget the original artist. Just append something to the artist name.
