Internal Midi-Signal to load a special song

How can I load a special song using a 3-way-footswitch (no midi-functionality) ? I tried to set an "Send Midi Action 1"-action which sends PC10@1, wrote PC10@1 in the midi-section of that song I want to been loaded and configured the midi action to be started by pressing 1 of my switches, but it seems not to listen to StageTraxx3-App-internal sent midi commands / from outside of the APP it´s possible to send a program-change to ST3 to load the song. Is there any internal way to make it work?

The idea of it is to press a 1 Footswitch to send program changes to the mixing-desk, lights, guitar and keyboard to mute the music which is running between our sets and start our opener song.

2nd question:
How do I start just 1 special song automatically when it´s loaded/chosen? I tried plenty of commands and couldn´t find a solution (beside of activating the autoplay-function which in this case starts EVERY song automatically and to do so makes a manual starting of f.e. the previous song necessary).

That’s easy already , I have my background music in one set list and my performance backing on another , when I decide to start my performance I just select my next song in my performance setlist and hit MIX on my foot pedal and presto the performance begins, I usually wait until the background song finishes then it auto loads my performance song and waits for my start command by foot pedal I assume as it loads it will send all midi commands to do everything you wanted, just make sure you have the auto play next setup the way you need.
The reason for the two set lists is mainly the master volume can be automatically set, backing music is around 10db lower than my performance list plus’s my large backing track music is seperate to my smaller performance playlist making it easier to foot control the next songs if needed in case of requests or inappropriate next song pre programmed choice.
That also applies when finishing a set. You just move to the backing track set and if you use DONE your next song can be the next non played song easily selected and no hassles to get off stage with background music seamlessly continuing .

To assign a midi command for loading a song, you can open the song details and scroll down to "Song Select Command". Enter the midi command that should trigger the song here or use the learn function.

It is not possible to load and automatically play a song with a single midi command. You will need 2 commands: one to load the song, then a short delay to complete loading and then one to start playing.
