Using pdf in lyrics only song

I don’t seem to be able to select a pdf to use in a lyrics only song. Is that right? There are some songs I need that don’t have a backing track and the lyrics and chords is in a pdf file.

Just open song details and tap on the PDF entry.

That’s the point if I tap on pdf it takes me to ‘files’ as expected but I can’t select anything.

Are these files in a cloud drive? If yes, try to download them first in either the Files app or the OneDrive app.

Use SHARE to ST3 or to a folder like downloads then go to ST3 and use + create lyrics only song then import pdf in to it.
Or you could try COPY and then paste but I haven’t done it that way before , you can never tell what’s going to happen with Apple logic as they keep changing it consistently and it’s driving me nuts.
Nothing is in its regular place and just works the same , it’s like they employ different people for different software and none of them stick to the same development rules that actually make sense to the end user.
I alway bitch to them every time I talk to them , which seems to be a lot more recently , because they don’t seem to have consistency in mind when creating new downgrades 😂 , as I call them.
Perhaps I am getting old and grumpy, but I think I’m not the only one that thinks that way.

As Peter suggested, and based on your screenshot, the assumption is that the files are stored on a OneDrive folder?

I also use OneDrive as my 'go-between' from my PC where I edit backing tracks and lyric sheets, and my iPad where I run ST. I've got to the point where EVERY time I want to import something into ST from OneDrive, the first thing I do is go into OneDrive app and drag the screen down to force a refresh. Even then, I can often be waiting 15sec-2 minutes depending on whether I'm waiting for a 5KB lyric file or 40MB audio file to show up, or an updated version to appear in ST's import UI.

I'm more familiar with using Android tablets and have NEVER experienced such consistenly slow cloud sync and UI refresh performance like this.

In saying that, I think might install iCloud for Windows on my PC to compare the experience as it really drives me nuts.
